Yes, it is extremely important to use a tripod as the camera needs to be steady to record the video correctly so that our app can detect the ball and provide accurate results.

Your phone must be able to record a video at 240 fps and be compatible with AR and AI technology. A comprehensive list of compatible phones can be found here: https://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3?nYearMin=2018&sFreeText=240fps

The phone camera needs to be 1.5 meters high and 2 meters from the stumps.

TIP: Mark your tripod at 1.5m so that when your down at the nets all you need to do is align the AR pitch and your phone will automatically be calibrated in the right position.

For the best results use a pink or orange ball. This will give the best opportunity for the app to pick up the ball in nets with difficult backgrounds.

If you are finding it difficult to obtain a pink or orange ball don’t worry. Some of user have had great success spray painting a traditional red ball a fluorescent colour so the app can track the ball against difficult backgrounds.  

When you click on each delivery you will get a shareable image and a shareable video (on premium) which you can then share directly to your social media platforms.

Yes, you can include all your team mates when bowling down at the nets. All you need to is send the shareable link from within the invite page (found using people icon on bowling page) which will add your friends. A new friend icon will show up on the bowl page which will enable you to select the bowler each time they bowl, this will then send personal data through to each users profile.

You can delete balls anytime by going into the activities page and swiping left on the delivery you would like to remove.

On Android, you will need to activate the AR pitch by pointing your phone at the ground first before use.

On some of the new devices such as Samsung S20, the AR pitch will appear through the normal set up process while phone is on the tripod.
